Founded in February 2022, we offer dance classes in lyrical, theatre and commercial for children aged 4 and above.

Our Principal

Our Founder and Principal of Cove School of Dance is Summer Rutter.

Dancing since age 4, Summer envisioned making a career following her passion. Wanting to study the technical elements of the art Summer first achieved a BTEC in performing arts at New College Durham. It was around this time Summer began developing her talent for choreography.

Following this, Summer gained her Bachelor's Degree in Professional Dance at Dance City Newcastle in 2020.

Summer then began her teaching career with various organisations across the North East of England before deciding to create a school of her own.
